With the BERBERA fragrance, Nissaba highlights the Horn of Africa through its iconic ingredients: frankincense, myrrh and opoponax gum. Berbera is the main port of Somaliland, connecting the Somali desert to the outside world. It is a place filled with two primary colors: the deep blue of the ocean and the sandy tones of the incessant winds and storms that blow across the country. The entire harvest of these gums ends up in the port city of Berbera, from where they leave for extraction, then finally join the laboratories of the great perfume houses, in Paris, Grasse or New York.
